Gas Prices…WTF?!

I’m sure most of you have had this question run through your mind several times in a month. With gas prices at an all time high I personally want to know what I’m paying for. Have you ever looked at the break down of who gets what in the price of gas per gallon? Well here you go for a gallon of Unleaded Regular….11% Taxes….6% Distribution and marketing….10% Refining and last but not least 73% Crude Oil. I guess that is why most independent fuel stations can offer a bit better price per gallon because they don’t have the Marketing expense. I don’t know. But I do know I’m tired of it. Bush is just lining his pockets. Hey “W” don’t let the door knob hit you in the ass on the way out! Texas we are returning your “Village Idiot” soon. That’s ok we will not hold it against you.
