If I see one more Dale Earnhardt tribute collectible I’m gonna puke. I was once a Dale Earnhardt fan until his untimely death in 2001. As iconic as he is, when is enough ENOUGH?! Everywhere you go in the south you would never think Earnhardt is dead. The merchandise is everywhere and keeps coming. I think it is very sad that these companies have to base a whole line of merchandise on the name of a dead man and then put a guilt trip on the fans to get them to buy the stuff. Now they feel they need to pair Earnhardt up with other deceased celebrities to get crap sold. You will hear stuff like…Once in a life time opportunity to own…Limited number produced…individually numbered…exclusive paint scheme…a way for the true fan to pay tribute. Well I guess I’m not a true fan, now where in the hell is the Kevin Harvick merchandise because I have moved on. They have dragged Elvis around for decades and now I guess they will do the same with Earnhardt. Check out NASCAR.com for the latest Earnhardt gimmick.

Earnhardt and Elvis gone but not forgotten…because there is too much money to be made.
